What We're Looking For...

As a User Experience Developer at Hertzian you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our software products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure that our products are intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct user research to understand the target audience's needs, preferences, and pain points.
  • Create user personas, user journeys, and user stories to inform product design.
  • Develop and maintain the information architecture for our software products.
  • Organize and structure content and features to enhance usability and findability.
  • Design intuitive and responsive user interfaces (UI) that align with the company's brand and design guidelines.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize the user interface and interactions.
  • Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather user feedback and iterate on design improvements.
  • Analyze user testing results and make data-driven design decisions.
  • Ensure that our software products are accessible to all users, including those with disabilities.
  • Implement best practices for inclusive design.
  • Collaborate with the design and development teams to ensure that the user experience aligns with the technical implementation.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in user experience design and user interface design.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Proficiency in  our stack technologies (Python, SQL,Elasticearch/Opensearch or other NoSQL).
  • Solid understanding of security concepts and practices related to systems software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
